I found this in a book about the sixties. Anyone who knows a bit about american history has probably seen it. I drew it using black coloured pencil on paper.

Space..space..space!

My spirit wanders around, who knows where I am! Most of all, I offer "Love & Peace!"^_^

MMmmmm...pocky!
Their pride seems mythical to me now a days, standing up for ones rights. just thinking of how this generation acts makes me angry, but then I think of how much of a hypocrite I am it.
Yeah, I know. Especially as it was not just one moment, it affected their whole lives. Actually, I think I might change the title to ';Pride', now that you mention it. Thanks for the comment and the fave.

No problem. that is the reason it speaks so loudly about what they did, they knew this was going to effect them for the rest of their lives but they still were brave enough to go through with it. you can't say the same with the celebrities in the current media.
Yeah, it's very different than how current celebrities 'raise awareness' of issues. None of it's real. People can donate as much money as they want but it's actions that change things and really make people take notice. That's what's so powerful about this picture because it shows people taking action to deal with issues, not just handing over a big cheque at some gala.
