I started this over a year and a half ago. The other day I decided I would finish it, and it's been keeping me busy ever since.

This is a mosaic I made from smashed up plates. The design is based on the drawing 'Lovers by a Rosebush' by the Pre-Raphaelite english artist John Everett Millais. Of all the works of art in my 19th century art history paper, this was the one that I thought was the most beautiful.

This is absolutely breathtakting! I would never have the patience to do a mosaic, let alone have it come out as beautiful as this~

This is incredible and it is a fantastic design based on 'Lovers by a Rose Bush'. Mosaics are so difficult, you really are very talented, SweetChile. Keep up the amazing work :)
