Well, I was supposed to be editing my film and this happened. Much more fun.
It's 6B graphite stick and white coloured pencil on cardboard because I ran out of paper so I used the backing board of the sketch pad. It is quite a dramatic picture with the wind whipping his hair up, so I figured dramatic lighting would suit it. Plus, it's not really a pose most people would expect to see Axl Rose in, all relaxed and pensive. The hardest part was the tattoo, because the photo was cut off and I had to make up the other half from other pictures, and then perspective problems came up and ahhh. Well. YE-YAH AXL ROSE RULES ALL! HUH! |
